The Boroondara Youth Foundation funds projects in the greater Boroondara municipal area. Projects are expected to impact the local community or closely surrounding areas such as Deakin University.

You can be a local secondary school or tertiary student, be between jobs, or working. In fact all you need is to have an association with the Boroondara municipality.

Ashburton, Glen Iris, Camberwell, Canterbury, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Surrey Hills, Balwyn, Balwyn North, Kew, Kew East, Deepdene and other nearby suburbs.

Students of Deakin and Swinburne universities are included.
